Alnitak, Alnilam y Mintaka son las tres estrellas del cinturón de Orión, una de las constelaciones más bellas del firmamento. Se dice que los egipcios construyeron sus pirámides alineándolas con las tres estrellas del cinturón de Orión y guardando la misma proporción respecto al río Nilo que las estrellas mantienen con la Vía Láctea.
El collar Gizeh está formado por tres esferas de mineral de 6mm que representan las tres estrellas del Cinturón de Orión. La esfera central va rodeada de un arco dorado. La cadena mide 53cm, es de latón libre de níquel y plomo y está chapada en oro de 18kt (dorado).
